Frequently asked questions
How far ahead should I book a yacht charter?
For July–August in the Mediterranean or December–January in the Caribbean, book 6–12 months ahead. Shoulder-season dates can often be arranged in 4–8 weeks.
What does a charter price include?
The base rate covers the yacht, crew and standard equipment. Fuel, food, drinks, marina fees and local taxes are usually paid from the APA (about 25–35% on top), and crew gratuity is customary at 5–15%.
Do I need sailing experience?
No. Crewed charters include a captain and crew. Bareboat charters, where you skipper, need a recognised licence and are only offered when it applies.
Can you arrange a wedding, proposal or corporate event at sea?
Yes. We handle vessel, guest cap, licences, catering, sound limits, decor and a weather-backup venue ashore. Plan 8–16 weeks for larger events.
What is your cancellation policy?
It follows the yacht, cruise or venue contract. Typical charters retain 50% of the fee 60–90 days out and 100% inside 60 days. See our Refund policy page and consider trip insurance.
Which destination is best in my month?
Mediterranean May–October, Caribbean December–May, Maldives and Andaman November–April, Antarctica November–March. Use the Build your voyage tool above for a quick match.
Is travel insurance necessary?
We strongly recommend it. Choose cover with medical evacuation and cancellation for named causes, since remote sea routes can make evacuation costly.
How do I get a quote?
Send an enquiry with dates, guests and budget. We reply within one business day with a shortlist and clear terms.
